Wimbledon has now arrived, with shocks having already taken place in qualifying ahead of the main draw.
French Open semi-finalist Lois Boisson has already fallen at Wimbledon, with the top seed losing her qualifying opener.
Off the courts meanwhile there have been a handful of major dropouts before the action has got underway.
ATP number 15 Casper Ruud has withdrawn from Wimbledon, joining the likes of Kei Nishikori and Zhang Zhizhen.
The withdrawals come as the opening day of action rapidly approaches, with the Grand Slam tournament starting this year on 30 June.

And unfortunately they don’t end there, with ATP number 16 Arthur Fils pulling out of Wimbledon due to a stress fracture in his back.
Former world number one Andy Roddick has now reacted to the injury, saying on his Served podcast: “Arthur Fils, this is concerning. A stress fracture in his back. That is a rough one. That is bad.

“When you are as physical and electric and as good as he is, the back stuff is tough to get away from. It’s not as if you can adjust technique to hide rotation.”
Andy Roddick says how highly he rates Sebastian Korda after Wimbledon withdrawal
Fils, who has won three times on the ATP Tour so far in his exciting career, last featured at the French Open last month.
He battled past Nicolas Jarry and Jaume Munar, but was then forced to bow out on home soil before taking on Andrey Rublev in round three.

And it now remains to be seen when he can recover from his unfortunate injury, but hopefully the 21-year-old can return as strong as before.

Korda has a stress fracture in his shin, with his fellow American Roddick again left disappointed by the situation.
Roddick said of the ATP number 31: “It sucks because he is so good. It feels like the stop and start thing, I just hate it.
“I think he is a top 10 talent or top five talent. Every time he starts it seems like there is a hiccup again and this time it’s the shin. I just hope he gets better.
“I have so much fun watching him. I like Sebastian Korda, I think he is a gentleman and I just hope he gets better soon.”
