1. City of Keller will enter partnership with ICE after unanimous vote
After a unanimous vote Tuesday, the City of Keller has approved a collaboration with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) through a program under the Jail Enforcement Model.
Keller is the largest city in Texas and the first in Tarrant County to partner with ICE.
2. Sen. John Cornyn says FBI will help locate Democrats who left the state
U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, says the FBI will help locate state Democratic lawmakers who left the state to block a mid-decade redistricting vote.
In a statement Thursday, Cornyn thanked FBI director Kash Patel and President Donald Trump for their quick action.

3. Texas Democrats ‘fight fire with fire’ amid redistricting push
It is no longer politics as usual. With President Donald Trump pushing Republicans in Texas to redraw the state’s congressional districts, top Democrats across the country say they are done playing by the old rules that once governed politics. They are signaling they want to match the president at his game.
