SAN ANTONIO – Authorities are asking for your help in identifying suspects in a jugging incident in Far Northwest Bexar County.
The incident happened on Wednesday outside a home off Abbotts Pointe near Culebra Road.
Jugging is where a thief targets a victim who is distracted, often while withdrawing money from an ATM or carrying valuables, by quickly snatching their belongings—typically a purse, wallet, or bag—and fleeing the scene.
Surveillance footage reveals a white SUV arriving near a home as an older woman steps out from the passenger side. As she walks toward the front door, a suspect clad in all black with a face mask approaches quietly, snatches her purse, and quickly returns to the vehicle before speeding away.
