UNIVERSITY PARK — Two more Penn State football players were named to watch lists the past two days.

Nittany Lion redshirt senior tight end Khalil Dinkins was named to the Mackey Award watch list on Friday.

The John Mackey Award is presented annually to the top tight end in college football. Penn State’s Tyler Warren won the Mackey Award in 2024.

On Thursday,senior quarterback Drew Allar was selected for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award watch list earlier this week.

The Award is presented annually to the nation’s best college quarterback and is the oldest and most prestigious national quarterback award in the country.

PITTSBURGH– Pitt Panther offensive lineman Lyndon Cooper was named to the 2025 Rimington Trophy Watch List, which honors the most outstanding center in NCAA Division I Football.

Cooper, a redshirt senior, is one of just 40 centers nationally, and one of only nine from the Atlantic Coast Conference, selected to the prestigious preseason list.

The Rimington Trophy committee, in partnership with Pro Football Focus, evaluated nominations alongside detailed play-by-play grading data to determine the initial candidates.
