The film War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, has gone through multiple rounds of trimming before its release. The team has not revealed why these cuts were made.
Initially, the movie was locked at a runtime of 182 minutes and 49 seconds, and the censor process was completed.
Later, about 9 minutes of footage was removed, bringing the runtime down to 173 minutes and 24 seconds for the Hindi version.
Just when everything seemed set, War 2 faced another round of cuts; this time removing 2 more minutes. The final runtime for the Telugu version is now fixed at 171 minutes and 44 seconds.
Sources say that a few scenes featuring Kiara Advani were removed from the Telugu version.
The film’s pre-release event will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad, with both Hrithik and Jr NTR attending.
