DALLAS — Shots were fired at an off-duty officer during a road rage incident in Dallas Thursday, officials said. No injuries were reported, though. 

The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Julius Schepps Freeway in southern Dallas, according to police.

Officers determined a suspect shot at the off-duty officer, who was in uniform, as the officer was driving, police said. 

No injuries were reported, according to officials. 

No additional information about the suspect or details about the incident was immediately available.

Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
