PHOENIX — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 reopened after a crash in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The closure went into effect around 4 p.m. on the I-10 near 24th Street, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The closure was lifted just before 8:30 p.m.

The westbound lanes were unaffected by the crash.
ADOT advised those heading to the airport from the East Valley to take the Loop 202 or I-10 to SR 143. Drivers in the West Valley were advised to take the Loop 202 (South Mountain) to westbound I-10 to SR 143.
