San Diego Fire Fighters responded to a structure fire at around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 1300 block of Vinca Way, according to Deputy Fire Chief Brent Brainard.

Once they arrived to the fire, the crews conducted searches and extinguishment. They found that there was no one in the home and no injuries have been reported at the moment.

The fire department successfully prevented the spread of the fire to neighboring structures.

However, the residence was completely destroyed, and it is unknown how many people have been displaced at this time, according to SDFD.

A total of 61 personnel were dispatched to the incident.
