The 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship has just 18 holes left. Those 18 holes will also decide which of the 70 in the FedEx Cup Playoffs rankings survive to be among the 50 who will advance to next week’s BMW Championship.

Tommy Fleetwood, still in search of his first PGA Tour victory held the 54-hole lead at 14 under entering Sunday’s final round, with fellow Englishman Justin Rose right on his heels at 13 under. One shot behind him is perhaps the most menacing name of all, Scottie Scheffler. The World No. 1 fired a 65 Saturday to get himself in contention for another victory.

Tommy Fleetwood takes the solo lead again

A bogey on the par-4 5th hole dropped World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler back into a tie for second at 12 under with Justin Rose, leaving Tommy Fleetwood alone at the top yet again — a place he’s spent a lot of time this week. Fleetwood has made three straight pars after a bogey on No. 1 and maintains a 1-shot lead as of 2:45 p.m. ET.

The Englishman is just 13 holes away from securing his first PGA Tour victory in his 162nd start, but a lot can change in 13 holes.

Scottie Scheffler grabs a share of the lead

Look who it is.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler made birdie on the par-5 third and is now in a tie for the lead at 13 under with Tommy Fleetwood, who is 1 over on the day thus far.

J.J. Spaun and Justin Rose are tied for second at 12 under with Akshay Bhatia and Andrew Novak right behind them at 11 under.

Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose both made bogey on No. 1 to start their final rounds Sunday at TPC Southwind. Fleetwood still holds onto a one-shot lead as of 1:55 p.m. ET, but Rose dropped into a three-way tie for second with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and J.J. Spaun, who made birdie on the first.

Cameron Young surging on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude

Cameron Young and Tommy Fleetwood were, for a long time, the two guys who just couldn’t quite get it done. Lots of runner-up finishes and top 10s without a victory. Young left Fleetwood alone in that club last week when he ran away with the title at the 2025 Wyndham Championship.

Now, while Fleetwood leads and looks to get that monkey off his back like Young did last week, Young is charging up the leaderboard in the final round in Memphis. As of 1:45 p.m. ET, Young has the best round going on the golf course. He fired a 5-under 30 on the outward nine and has moved into a tie for seventh at 10 under — 14 spots higher than where he started the day.

It stands to reason that Young’s name is already being strongly considered for a spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, and a good finish to Sunday’s round would certainly help his case.

Tommy Fleetwood is all smiles as he arrives at TPC Southwind

You have to admire the Englishman’s attitude, don’t you? All the pressure in the world is on his shoulders as he is just 18 holes away from a maiden PGA Tour victory that has long eluded him.

Rickie Fowler needs a good day to play next week

Rickie Fowler has teed off for his final round at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, and he needs a good day if he wants to play next week. He entered the week as No. 64 in the standings with a lot of work to do to get inside the top 50. He’s done most of that work, as he now sits at No. 49 entering Sunday.

He made birdie on No. 1 to get to 10 under for the tournament, in a tie for sixth as of 1:30 p.m. ET.

Scottie Scheffler to use fill-in caddie Sunday at FedEx St. Jude Championship

The World No. 1 will have a last-minute replacement on his bag for the final round at TPC Southwind.

Scottie Scheffler’s caddie, Ted Scott, had to leave Memphis for private family reasons, according to the PGA Tour. Brad Payne will step in for Scott on Sunday and carry Scheffler’s bag for the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Min Woo Lee plays his final round in just over two hours

Dr. Chipinski was not messing around today.

Min Woo Lee played alone in the final round of the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship as he entered day 10 over and in dead last. The reason he played alone, though, is because there’s only 69 players in a field that would normally be 70. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy decided to skip the event.

So, Lee took advantage of his lone wolf status and clocked his final round, an even-par 70, at two hours and 10 minutes. It was his best round of the week, too. He came into Memphis as the “bubble boy” for the FedEx Cup top 50, but the disappointing performance this week will send him home.

Final round underway at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship

The final round is underway at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship, where Tommy Fleetwood entered the day with a one-shot lead as he seeks that elusive first victory on the PGA Tour.

He’ll have to fend off several major champions on his heels, including Justin Rose, World NO. 1 Scottie Scheffler and 2025 U.S. Open Champion J.J. Spaun.

Meanwhile, the pressure is on in the race for the FedEx Cup, too, as 20 players will be sent home after today’s round. Only the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings advance to next week’s BMW Championship.
