Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s matchup between the Valkyries and the Sun.
The Valkyries are hosting the Sun on Monday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Golden State is favored by eight points and this game carries a total of 156.5 points. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for this contest on DraftKings Sportsbook.
After being limited as she worked her way back from a knee injury that sidelined her for over a month, Mabrey has seen no limitations recently and she has been producing strong numbers. In her last five starts, Mabrey is leading the Sun with a 28.8% usage rate and 32.5 minutes per game, which has translated into 17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the guard.
Mabrey has reached 23 PRA in all but one of these past five games, including a stat line of 22 points, four rebounds and three assists last night vs. the Aces. Tonight’s matchup vs. the Valkyries isn’t perfect – Golden State ranks sixth in defensive rating – but Mabrey should record at least 23 PRA with her huge role.
Hayes has been terrible as an outside shooter recently. Since the All-Star break, she is averaging 0.8 made three-pointers on 3.3 attempts per game, resulting in a low 25% three-point percentage. Hayes has failed to make a three-pointer in four of these six games, one of which was a 0-4 effort vs. the Sun two weeks ago.
Hayes should once again have a quiet performance from deep vs. Connecticut tonight and she is an excellent bet for under 1.5 made three-pointers.
Charles has taken a major step backwards as a rebounder this season. After averaging 9.6 rebounds per game last season, the veteran is only averaging 5.8 rebounds per game in 2025. Charles ranks just fifth in rebound percentage for the Sun this season (25.8%) and she has stayed under 6.5 rebounds in both of her matchups vs. the Valkyries this season.
This season, Golden State ranks dead last in pace and the club is giving up the sixth-fewest rebounds per game. The 6.5 rebound line is too high for Charles in this spot and backing her for under this number is a no-brainer.
