Christmas won’t arrive for another four months, but that’s not stopping the NBA from getting in the holiday spirit.
The league announced its five-game Christmas Day schedule for 2025 on Tuesday, and it features some marquee matchups, especially out West.
Here’s a look at the full NBA Christmas schedule, which includes the reigning champs on their home floor, a LeBron-KD matchup and No. 1 overall draft pick Cooper Flagg’s holiday debut:

The Christmas craziness will begin at Madison Square Garden, where Donovan Mitchell and the Cavs will battle Jalen Brunson and the Knicks in a contest between Eastern Conference hopefuls. It will mark the Knicks’ 58th Christmas Day appearance, the most of any NBA franchise.
The action will shift to Oklahoma City, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the defending NBA champion Thunder will welcome Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, who are on the Christmas docket for the first time since 2018.
From the 2023 No. 1 pick to the 2025 No. 1 pick, Flagg and the Mavs will head to San Francisco to take on Steph Curry and the Warriors. The game will also serve as a holiday homecoming for Klay Thompson, who won four championships across 11 seasons with Golden State.
In Los Angeles, LeBron James and Kevin Durant will face off under the holiday spotlight for the fifth time when the Lakers host the Rockets.
To wrap it all up, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves will head to Denver for a matchup against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.
All games will air on ABC and ESPN.
The NBA on Christmas Day has brought out some of the best ever on-court performances from triple-doubles to monster scoring.
