CHICAGO — A new Chicago bus tour will focus on the life and legacy of Pope Leo XIV.
The “Chicago Pope Tour” will visit meaningful sites from Pope Leo’s upbringing.
The tour begins at the Holy Name Cathedral, where Pope Leo’s parents married in the late 1940s, according to the tour website.
For two-and-a-half hours, the tour promises to stop at his birthplace on the South Side, his childhood church and home, along with live narration.

Earlier this year, the Dolton Village Board voted to purchase Pope Leo XIV’s childhood home. The property at 212 East 141st Place got a quick facelift as the village says it hopes to convert the place into a historic site.
And what’s Chicago without some pizza? Customers will receive 20% off at Aurelio’s, notoriously known as Pope Leo’s favorite pizza joint.
