The Fever (18-14), who carry a five-game home winning streak, are in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race as the third seed, despite a plethora of injuries trying to derail their season.

Indiana superstar Caitlin Clark will miss her 11th straight games as she continues to recover from a right thigh injury. She is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 36.7% from the field. Clark has not played since July 15.

Along with Clark’s hiatus, the Fever have been decimated by injuries, including losing guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald two games ago.

All-Star Kelsey Mitchell has stepped up with strong performances in a morphing role, including a recent 26-points, eight assists showing as Indiana thrashed the Angel Reese-less Chicago Sky, 92-70.

Point guard Odyssey Sims has joined the team on a hardship contract, providing some depth to a bone-dry guard position.

The Fever have won all three meetings this season, including two of them without Clark.

Lugging a five-game losing streak, the Wings (8-24) continue to weather some growing pains with their superstar guard at the helm.

Bueckers, a first-time All-Star, leads the team with 18.5 points, 5.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting 45.9% from the field, including 34.1% from beyond the arc.

Dallas is coming off a 91-78 loss to the Washington Mystics on Aug. 10. Bueckers’ four straight games with 20-plus point games was snapped in the loss. While not officially eliminated, Dallas is eight games back of a final playoff spot.

Guard Arike Ogunbowale is 1-for-8 from beyond the arc in three matchups against the Fever this year. She is listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup.

The Wings signed former Fever guard Grace Berger to a contract after experimenting with three hardship deals. She is available to play in today’s game.

The Wings are 3-12 away from home this season.
