Officials will fully close eastbound I-20 at Business 287 overnight for construction.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Eastbound lanes on Interstate 20 at Business 287 will be fully closed overnight this week, according to officials.
The closure will happen from 11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, for construction activities, weather permitting.
During the overnight closure, all eastbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road.
Officials advise commuters to take alternate routes. Otherwise, drivers should plan accordingly and add extra time to their commute. The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph throughout the Southeast Connector corridor.
