With Bayern Munich tied with Boca Juniors 1-1 in the 80th minute, a situation arose that no one wants to see — potentially another injury for Jamal Musiala.
After entering the game as a substitute in the 57th minute, Musiala was caught up in what was a very physical game. While it is unclear what might be hurt (if there is even an injury, to be clear, nothing has been officially reported) or even how it happened, the Bayern Munich players knew something was off with their burgeoning star and surrounded him before he left the pitch.
Thankfully, seconds after Musiala exited, Michael Olise gave the Bavarians a 2-1 lead in what was a very tense situation.
To be clear again no one knows exactly what happened yet. It could be as simple as a cramp, but Musiala face and tender walk off the field definitely have left fans concerned.
We will keep you updated on Musiala’s status as news breaks…
