JUCO DIRT: Otero College set to hire D2 assistant as new Head Basketball Coach

I can confirm that NJCAA D1 Otero College will hire Eastern New Mexico assistant Tim Bowlen as their new head basketball coach.

Bowlen was in his second go around as an assistant at ENMU this past season, after also serving on the Greyhounds staff from 2021-2023. In between stints in New Mexico, Bowlen served as an assistant at Otero in 2023-24.

In addition to his time as an assistant, Bowlen also spent time as an intern under Mick Cronin at UCLA, and as a manager at IUPUI.
