Country Superstar Blake Shelton Drops Bombshell About His Home Life With Gwen Stefani originally appeared on Parade.

Blake Shelton might be joking about his home life with wife Gwen Stefani. Or maybe he’s not.

Shelton has been a country music superstar for almost 25 years. His music catalog encompasses 13 studio albums, five compilations, and 54 singles.

This rich catalog of songs has kept Shelton at the top of the country music industry for decades. In fact, he’s so proud of the music he’s created, he reportedly enjoys featuring it all day and night, at the Oklahoma ranch he shares with Stefani, his wife of four years.

“I crank all of my music all the time,” Shelton deadpanned to Taste of Country Nights. He added, “Twenty-four hours of Blake Shelton going on at Blake Shelton’s house, come on in.”

However, the country superstar wasn’t kidding when he admitted that toward the end of his run as a coach on The Voice, he felt burned out. He told American Songwriter, “For a few years there, I was having a pretty hot streak in country music, and I happened to also be on the No. 1 television show at the same time.”

“Trying to bounce back and be sure you don’t lose momentum in this lane, but you have to do this job. You signed up to do it. And eventually, it did do a number on me,” he added.

Shelton hadn’t released an album in four years when he got a call from Post Malone to record the 2024 song “Pour Me a Drink.” The collaboration became his 29th No. 1 song and a huge country crossover hit for both artists.

The song’s success was enough to pull Shelton out of a self-imposed hiatus. He realized, “I need to make a record. That was fun. What I realized is that I’d had the break that I needed.”

Shelton subsequently released the album For Recreational Use Only on May 9, 2025. This collection of songs reintroduced him to the industry and reignited his creative spark. “I’ve never been somebody who’s trying to make some kind of a statement with an album. I’ve just always been someone who wants to collect great songs.”

“I know it’s subject to opinion, but I look back at some of these songs that I’ve had and just go, ‘Man, I’m really, really proud.’”
