The Phoenix Suns NBA Cup schedule for 2025 was released on Wednesday with matchups against the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder all on the docket.

The fun begins on Halloween as the Suns take on the Jazz at PHX Arena.

The next game against the Timberwolves isn’t until Nov. 21 at home, followed by road games against the Kings (Nov. 26) and Thunder (Nov. 28).

  • 7:00 p.m. Oct. 31  – Suns vs Jazz
  • 7:00 p.m. Nov. 21 – Suns vs Timberwolves
  • 8:00 p.m. Nov. 26 – Suns at Kings
  • 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 – Suns at Thunder

After each group plays in four round robin games each, eight teams advance to the knockout rounds with single-elimination games that run from Dec. 9-10.

The semifinals are on Dec. 13 and championship game is played on Dec. 16.

Teams that do not qualify for the knockout rounds will play regular season games on Dec. 11 & 12 and Dec. 14 & 15.

How did the Suns do in the NBA Cup?

This will be the third season of the NBA Cup in-season tournament.

Last season, the Suns were 3-1 in group play but failed to advance in the tournament based on tie breakers.

The Kings and the Timberwolves are new opponents for the Suns in NBA Cup play.

They replace the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs in the Suns group.

In 2023-24, the Suns advanced to the quarterfinals as a wild card team where they lost to the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers in the first game of the knockout round.
