A man was shot in Center City Thursday night, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of 13th and Locust streets, police said.
A man in his early twenties was shot in the arm before he was rushed to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to police.
The victim told police he was minding his business when someone shot him for no apparent reason, police explained.
He told them the alleged shooter was wearing a white or light-colored shift with dark pants, policer said. He was last seen on foot heading northbound on 13th Street away from Locust.
This section of Center City is known for being very busy with lots of cars and pedestrians around.
No other injuries were reported and police are still looking for the suspect.
