Fort Worth’s calendar is rolling from the heat of August straight into the first hints of fall, and the lineup is anything but sleepy. Before summer’s end, you can soak in a sound bath beneath a galaxy of stars, cheer at a Stockyards rodeo, or sip cocktails during a Horned Frog–themed night out. September brings family concerts in the zoo and the Botanic Garden, plus plenty of live music and football on the big screen. Here’s what’s on tap as the seasons start to turn.
Sound Bath Under the Stars
Sunday, August 24, 2025 | 6:00 p.m.
Jane & John Justin Foundation Omni Theater
The Omni will trade its usual jaw-dropping visuals for a night of serenity when Se7en Waves brings its sound bath experience to the planetarium dome. Guests will lie back under a projection of stars and galaxies while instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes create waves of meditative sound.
“While many of our immersive Omni programs are high-energy and full of excitement, the partnership with Se7en Waves offers something new,” says Nikki Diller, Vice President of Collections, Interpretation, and Programs. “This collaboration invites guests to find a sense of calm and rejuvenation under the Omni’s stars.”
