Tedeschi Trucks Band pulled into Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, sharing a bill with Whiskey Meyers. During the 12-piece ensemble’s single set offering, husband and wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi welcomed guest guitarist Doyle Bramhall II out to assist on the final numbers, covers of Elmore James & His Broom Dusters’ “The Sky Is Coming” and The Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends.” On location was photographer Steveo Rood, who shared his shots with Relix.

Before welcoming the night’s special guest, TTB revived a new number, “Crazy Cryin’,” which debuted in May, during the first stop of their ongoing tour. They followed with select originals, Made Up Mind’s “Do I Look Worried,” and another 2025 addition to the songbook, “Who Am I,” which led into the concert’s initial cover, Prince’s “D.M.S.R.”

Another round of originals preluded a pair of Derek and the Dominos covers, “Bell Bottom Blues” and “Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad?” The covers came three days after the passing of Bobby Whitlock, and were known nods to the late musician, given his co-writer status on both cuts. “Devil Be Gone” and “Midnight in Harlem” broke the run of homages.

Next, a known Clapton collaborator, Bramhall, arrived on stage and helped lift the night’s cover of “The Sky is Crying” and “With a Little Help From My Friends.” TTB concluded their appearance without an encore following the venue’s curfew. After their concert in LA, the band will perform tonight, August 15, at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Amphitheatre in Stateline, Nev.
