Carson Hocevar has been impressive so far this NASCAR season. Twenty-four races in, the 2024 Rookie of the Year has already set several new career milestones: two top-five finishes and six top 10s, and he’s also led  for a total of 80 laps.

In fact, on two occasions, the Spire Motorsports driver was extremely close to bagging his maiden Cup Series victory. First, at the EchoPark Speedway and then at Nashville, Hocevar finished runner-up in both races. And Hocevar has time and again shown the kind of talent he possesses, be it by taking the pole start in Texas or starting in P4 or better on six occasions.

Indeed, the 22-year-old still has a long way to go in NASCAR, whether it be by honing his race craft, keeping his emotions in check, or picking his battles carefully (making sure it’s not Ricky Stenhouse Jr.).

Regardless, “Hurricane” Hocevar has already impressed many with his relentless spirit and determination to go all out in a race. After all, testing waters with Kyle Busch takes guts (like he did at EchoPark), but Hocevar has repeatedly shown that he’s got what it takes.

That’s probably why he keeps getting new sponsors. Recently, he’s managed to rope in a major casino company.

Modo Casino Is Set To Ride on Carson Hocevar’s No. 77 Car

The 2025 regular season is yet to conclude, but the youngster has already gotten several sponsors on board. Be it MINER, partnering with him for multiple races, or when he got Totalplay, Mexico’s leading telecommunications provider, to feature on his car in the NASCAR Cup Series’ Mexico City race.

Now, the newest member of the Hocevar faction is the online social casino, Modo. They will partner with the No. 77 team on four weekends, starting with the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona. Playoff races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, Talladega Superspeedway, and Martinsville Speedway will follow.

Recently, Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern shared the Modo Casino paint scheme Hocevar will be running in those races.

Roping in Modo Casino is a big deal, given their presence in Formula One. The Alpine F1 team penned a multi-year deal with them in 2024. Naturally, Hocevar was pumped to have a partner with a global motorsports presence in his corner.

Speaking of which, he recently said, “I’ve been looking forward to kicking off the Modo Casino partnership and introducing its games to the NASCAR world. Modo Casino has been growing its presence through Formula 1 and working with content creators, so I’m excited to join the team and continue building that growth.”

Hocevar currently ranks No. 23 in points, and a playoff spot seems out of reach based solely on that criteria. However, he could maybe win one of the remaining two races in the regular season to still bag a spot.

And given his past runs on super speedways, Daytona is where he could have a strong chance. Surely, his newest sponsor will be among those pulling for that very outcome.
