PHOENIX — One man is dead following a shooting on Friday morning around 3:45 a.m. in south Phoenix, authorities said.
The man, identified as 41-year-old Gabino Martinez Jr., was found on the ground with a gunshot wound when officers arrived to the scene.
Multiple people were detained on scene near the intersection of 13th and Southern avenues.
Detectives have taken over the investigation and spoke to witnesses before releasing the people found on scene.
An investigation is underway.
