Increased bear activity reported in Carson City

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is reporting an increase in bear activity throughout the city.

They say locals are advised to secure food, garbage and recycling cans to prevent bears from accessing human foods.

You should also never approach foods, remove bird feeders, clean and store grillers, and never leave pet food outdoors.
