Silver Alert discontinued for 77-year-old Fort Worth woman

The Silver Alert for Beatrice Brown has been discontinued, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Police in Fort Worth are searching for a missing 77-year-old woman with a cognitive impairment who was last seen Friday.

Police say Beatrice Brown was last seen Friday around 5:15 p.m. at 2309 E. Lancaster Ave in Fort Worth.

Brown is described as a 5-foot-tall black woman with brown eyes and gray hair weighing 120 lbs.

She was last seen wearing a black ball cap, a white and gray shirt, and light blue jeans.

Police say she may be driving a beige 2003 Buick Century with license plate number HTF-3888.

Officials believe that this person’s disappearance poses a credible threat to their safety.

Police say to call 911 if you see Brown.
