SAN ANTONIO – An early morning shooting left an 18-year-old girl injured on the city’s West Side.
The incident took place around 3:15 am on Saturday at the 300 block of Pradera Butte, where officers were called to the location after reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival at the scene, the San Antonio Police Department found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators say she was inside the location when unknown suspects shot multiple rounds from outside the residence, striking her in the lower body.
The girl was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. SAPD has not identified any suspects, and the motive behind the shooting also remains unclear.
