SAN ANTONIO – A teenage girl ran to a neighbor’s home for help after being grazed in the foot by a bullet.
The shooting occurred around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday near VFW Blvd and Padre Drive.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the 16-year-old girl was shot while walking with a group of juveniles, one of whom was carrying a firearm that discharged, shooting the girl in the foot.
The girl ran to the neighbor’s home for help, and the suspect fled the scene. She was treated on scene with a non-life-threatening injury.
