Once home to the notorious Stingaree district, San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter has transformed from a rowdy red-light zone into a vibrant, historic hub of culture, architecture, and commerce.

Come join the Library every second Thursday at 11am. Little Explorers will provide hands-on activities to promote early childhood development and sensory skills. This story time has a rotating weekly theme and is geared towards children aged three to five years old.

11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Project Heartbeat CPR & First Aid Training in the Activity Room at the John D. Spreckels Center located at 1019 7th St, Coronado, CA 92118. This is a free AED training and hands only CPR class. Learn how to recognize when someone is experiencing cardiac arrest, how to use an AED, and how to perform CPR.

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Sit a Spell Piano Grand Opening for all ages in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library located at 640 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118.
