BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Public voting system demonstrations are being planned as part of Louisiana’s efforts to secure a new voting system for future elections.
According to officials with the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office, the public demonstrations will feature voting systems and system components that will be tested for certification for use.
You will be able to see the demonstrations at Louisiana’s Old Governor’s Mansion on the following dates:
- August 26 from 9 a.m. to noon: Hart InterCivic Verity Vanguard 1.0 Voting System
- September 9 from 9 a.m. to noon: Clear Ballot ClearVote Voting System
- September 11 from 9 a.m. to noon: ES&S EVS 6.5.0.0 Voting System
- September 15 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Democracy Live Omni Ballot Tablet
- September 16 from 9 a.m. to noon: Dominion Voting Systems Democracy Suite 5.20 Voting System
- September 18 from 9 a.m. to noon: VotingWorks VxSuite 4 Voting System
Louisiana’s Old Governor’s Mansion is located at 502 North Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
