An AI-powered private school founded in Texas is expanding nationwide and has opened locations in Fort Worth and Plano.

The new Alpha School locations on Independence Parkway in Plano and Bryant Irvin Road in Fort Worth officially welcomed students on Aug. 13, a spokesperson said.

Alpha Fort Worth will house about 70 students between kindergarten through eighth grade. Alpha Plano launched with 30 founding families and will serve students in kindergarten through third, with plans to add additional grades next year.

At the AI-driven school, students spend two hours on core subjects — math, science, language and reading — then spend the rest of day focused on learning life skills such as public speaking, riding a bike and financial literacy.
