Jacob Fatu finally turned on Solo Sikoa earlier this month at Money in the Bank. Solo now realizes how valuable Jacob is as an ally, so he made one final plea to get him back on his side during this week’s (June 20) episode of SmackDown.

The United States champion is not a dumb babyface, so he didn’t fall for Sikoa’s shtick. He essentially told Solo to shut up and come challenge him for the gold. Plan A didn’t work for Solo, so he instead went ahead with Plan B, which was calling in JC Mateo for a beatdown on Fatu.

That’s when Jimmy Uso unexpectedly showed up to save the champ.

Later in the show, a title match between Fatu and Sikoa was booked for Night of Champions on June 28 in Saudi Arabia. Here’s the updated card for that PLE:

  • John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk for the WWE championship
  • King of the Ring Final: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes OR Jey Uso
  • Queen of the Ring Final: Asuka vs. Jade Cargill OR Roxanne Perez
  • Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa for the United States championship
  • Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles for the Intercontinental championship
