Scottsdale tourism officials say the city saw increases in domestic and international visitors last year, and their economic impact was $3.7 billion.

Scottsdale officials hired a Phoenix-based firm called Applied Economics to study 2024 tourism.

A new report to the City Council says for every dollar Scottsdale spent on services used by visitors, the city received $1.42 in revenue.

The report also says visitor spending directly and indirectly supports roughly 36,000 local jobs.

Separately, the city says this year’s Cactus League drew the most fans to Scottsdale Stadium since 2019.
