Dead man discovered by mailman on route identified

SAN ANTONIO – The man who was found shot and killed by a mailman on Saturday morning has been identified.

Johnny Montoya, 31, was discovered around 11 a.m. near Hwy 90 and Dorris Street.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, he was discovered by a mailman on his route.

It is possible that the shooting was related to another drive-by shooting that happened in the area earlier that morning where a teenage boy and a 58-year-old man were shot and killed.
