It appears the Dallas Wings will be without guard Arike Ogunbowale for a few games.
The veteran guard was recently diagnosed with a right knee injury, the Wings announced Tuesday evening. According to the Wings, Ogunbowale has tendinitis in her right knee. She will be sidelined by the injury and is expected to be reevaluated in “the coming weeks.”

The Wings notably revealed two major player injuries on Tuesday. Before the Ogunbowale update, the team announced that center Li Yueru is out for the rest of the 2025 season due to an ACL sprain in her left knee.

Ogunbowale is a key part of Dallas’ backcourt, serving as a veteran scoring option next to standout rookie Paige Bueckers. Ogunbowale is the Wings’ second-leading scorer, averaging 15.5 points per game. She also posted 2.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists throughout the campaign.
