ALPENA — Upper Peninsula author Sue Harrison will be sharing her children’s book, “Rescuing Crash: The Good Dog,” at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Alpena County Library. Harrison explores the sadness and confusion of a child abandoned by a parent, the unique bonds between fathers and daughters, and the healing connections to be found in adopting a rescue animal.
Books will be available for purchase.
