Eagles Preseason Kickoff airs on NBC10 and will be streamed on the NBC10 Philadelphia streaming channel as well as the video embedded on top of this article on Friday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m.
The live show, hosted by NBC10’s Fred Shropshire, features reporting from NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark at MetLife Stadium in northern New Jersey.
The show will also feature an exclusive pregame interview with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and game analyst Ross Tucker. Mike Quick will also break down the key matchups for the game.
The show will also feature the story of Ainias Smith, whose connection to the Eagles began on the night of the 2024 NFL Draft and ties him to a Philadelphia high school and the African nation of Ghana.
This Friday, the Eagles will play their final preseason game against the Jets and final roster spots are up for grabs. One of the players fighting for a final spot is Wide Receiver Ainias Smith. The Houston native’s connection to the Eagles actually crosses continents and began with Philadelphia’s Imhotep Charter High School. Only NBC10 was there as there as Ainias met kids from the school who made his NFL Dreams a reality.
