WatchTime is creating another horophile’s nirvana in the Big Apple this fall.

The magazine, founded in New York City in 1999, will hold its annual watch event at Gotham Hall in midtown Manhattan from October 17 to 19. The 10th edition of WatchTime New York will see a record 40 watchmakers showcase their latest creations, allowing collectors and enthusiasts to experience timepieces firsthand and rub shoulders with industry professionals.

The exhibiting brands include familiar names, such as Ulysse Nardin, Zenith, Blancpain, Chopard, Urwerk, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Piaget, to name but a few. Independent watchmakers, such as Arnold & Son, Laurent Ferrier, Greubel Forsey, MB&F, and Kari Voutilainen, will also be in the spotlight.

“This year’s WatchTime New York event brings together more watch brands and more new watches than ever before,” Watch Time editor-in-chief Roger Ruegger said in a statement. “Collectors can expect an incredible range of discoveries, from world premieres to rare independents, all in one place.”

The event will carry on with the popular three-day format, starting with a cocktail party on Friday evening. The following two days will include everything from brand activations to exclusive whiskey and wine tastings.

WatchTime is also introducing a new experience this year to celebrate a decade’s worth of shows. The exclusive 10th Anniversary Dinner will be held on the mezzanine level of Gotham Hall immediately after the cocktail party on Friday. Select guests will enjoy a curated three-course meal and wine pairings, alongside fellow collectors, watchmakers, brand executives, and WatchTime editors. Seating is extremely limited, and the dinner is already nearly at capacity.

“We set out to bring collectors and brands together,” adds WatchTime publisher Sara Orlando. “Ten years in, our team is so proud to have achieved that mission and so much more.”

WatchTime New York has attracted healthy crowds since launching in 2015, with the 2024 edition drawing around 2,500 collectors and industry professionals. WatchTime says the event has become a cornerstone of New York City’s unofficial Watch Week and inspired several watch-centric shows throughout the month of October. It also gives horophiles a chance to show off their grails: We spotted some amazing timepieces at last year’s event. Best get your finest wrist candy ready then, folks.
