Jacksonville’s bravest unite for a cause at Battle of the Badges blood drive

JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County–Jacksonville Public Safety is calling on the community to help save lives by donating blood at the upcoming Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.

The event takes place on Thursday, August 28, at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center, with a goal of collecting 150 units of donated blood.

This friendly competition will pit the Jacksonville Fire Department against the Jacksonville Police Department, giving donors the chance to show their support for their favorite first responders while helping meet a critical community need.
