PHOENIX — Ricemill, an Asian rice bowl restaurant, will open a new location at a West Valley shopping center on Saturday.

The chain’s second location in Arizona will be on the second level at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale.

From 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., guests can indulge in several exclusive deals during the restaurant’s grand opening.

Besides having the chance to witness a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a lion dance, the first 50 people in line will receive one free Chef’s Signature Bowl.

After that limited amount is doled out, guests will be able to buy one rice bowl and get another free for the remainder of the day. Bowls can be built around bases of white rice, brown rice, rice noodles or mixed greens and topped with steak, shrimp, vegetables and a variety of sauces.

Other perks following Ricemill opening in Glendale

The deals don’t end on Saturday. They last through Monday.

On Sunday, customers will be able to purchase any bowl and get a free drink. Then, on Monday, there will be an all-day $7 special on the Seoul Garlic Chicken Bowl, one of six signature-style bowls.

The restaurant will also give anyone who joins its rewards program a special deal during the opening weekend.

The Glendale location is one of three Ricemill plans on opening in 2025. One already opened in March at downtown Phoenix’s Collier Center.

Standard hours of operation for the Arrowhead Towne Center location following the grand opening will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Mondays through Saturdays and then from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
