A dozen dogs are recovering after the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday it saved them from deplorable conditions and neglect in the West Valley. Deputies said they found the 12 dogs, all underweight, living in hazardous conditions at a home in Tonopah. One pup had an untreated, severe leg injury, which was causing long-term anguish. Bodycam video from one of the deputies showed the malnourished dog limping around.
