People have lived in South Texas for thousands of years, and the San Antonio Missions are a testament to the history of the land.

Ten years ago, the Missions became the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas to continue the legacy of the people that live here.

To celebrate, the World Heritage Festival invites everyone to tour the historic sites and enjoy the natural area around them.

Park ranger Chantelle Ruidant- Hansen shares details about the festival happening September 3rd to the 7th.
