Phoenix police said the driver was killed when their vehicle hit a concrete structure.

PHOENIX — One person has died after an early morning crash in south Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said the single-vehicle crash happened Saturday at around 3:45 a.m. near 51st Avenue and Broadway Road.

The driver of the vehicle was killed when their vehicle hit a concrete structure. Their name has not been released.

Police said they expect to release more information later in the day.
