SAN ANTONIO – A suspect is accused of breaking into his own mother’s house and stabbing her.
Around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to calls of a reported cutting at an address near the corner of War Cloud Street and Old Pearsall Road on the South West side.
Investigators gathered that the suspect, a 25-year-old man, entered his 45-year-old mother’s residence through a window and allegedly began attacking her.
During the attack, the suspect allegedly stabbed the woman at least one time. The victim was able to flee from the suspect and called the police for help.
When officers arrived, they found the suspect inside the residence and apprehended him. The victim was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
