It’s always fun to watch baby animals bonding with their caretakers, especially when things don’t go as expected. TikToker @1989vinyl, aka Molly, recently shared a video of Moo Deng, the famous pygmy hippo who lives at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Si Racha, Chonburi, Thailand. The little one is being spoiled, but has a funny way of saying thank you!

In Molly’s video, Moo Deng is enjoying a swim in a small tub while her caretaker lovingly scratches her head. It’s clear she’s enjoying it; so much so that she tries to bite his hand out of pure excitement!

Those little teefers are too cute! Molly’s video made many of us realize that we haven’t seen Moo Deng videos recently, and we’re ready for more of them!

Commenters’ Funny Reactions to Moo Deng Totally Being Moo Deng

In September 2024, shortly after she was born, the internet fell in love with Moo Deng after the Zoo started sharing videos of her. She was, of course, adorable, as all baby animals are, but she is also spunky, feisty, and entertaining, and people couldn’t get enough of her videos!

This one brought those memories back for all of us, like @Pablo and Company who said, “I fear we haven’t seen enough of Moo Deng in a while…” @Bliz pointed out, “She is both sugar and spice.”

@Amber shared, “She hasn’t changed who she is for anyone!” Molly agreed and replied, “Fame hasn’t gone to her head, and we love that! Never change, Moo, never change!” @GGoldberry cracked us up with, “I’m so mad potato watcher wasn’t talked about on career day…”

Commenter @Estefana shared, “That’s how my bird is. He loves being pet, but his inner rage comes out!” @Chinese Take Out added, “Cute and filled with rage? Samsies.” @Molly replied, “Overstimulated legends!!! We love it!”

@From Here to Elsweyr pointed out, “Moo Deng is going to grow into a 4-ton killing machine with a passion for murder, and there’s nothing we can do about it.” Moo Deng is a pygmy hippo, so she won’t get that big. Regular hippos weigh between 3,000 and 8,800 pounds, while pygmy hippos weigh an average of 600 pounds. She’s still going to be a very big girl!
