SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for the driver of a white sedan who struck a woman early Saturday morning on the Southwest side of the city.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of SW Loop 410.

Witnesses reported the sedan veered off the access road into the grassy median, hitting a woman who had been walking there.

The driver did not stop to help her or provide information; instead, they fled the scene quickly.

The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and, at last check, has been reported to be in stable condition.

Police say the driver will face a charge of Collision Involving Injury when found.
