Several New York City streets will be closed this weekend due to another week of Summer Streets, New York City Department of Transportation’s open streets initiative, and multiple parades and festivals throughout the city.

These closures could result in detours and possible traffic jams for those driving on city roadways on Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 24.

According to the advisory, all closures will be at the discretion of the NYPD.

Saturday, Aug. 23Festa Di Santa Rosalia in Brooklyn

The feast is located on 18th Avenue between 67th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway.

The 7th annual parade will be on Bay 32nd Street between Dwight Avenue and Far Rockaway Boulevard.
