SAN ANTONIO – An unidentified pedestrian was found lying in the road after a hit-and-run crash.

Around 3 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to calls for a pedestrian accident near the corner of Bandera Road and Kentucky Avenue.

When police arrived, they found the unidentified victim with serious injuries in the northbound lanes of Bandera Road, not in a crosswalk.

Police say that the victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle, with the driver failing to stop and render aid.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The case remains under investigation.
