Officers say a fight in the parking lot of the club spilled over to a parking lot across the street.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are searching for the gunman responsible for shooting a woman outside of an east-side night club.
It happened just after 4 a.m. Sunday on East Commerce Street at the Chateau Chanel NightClub and Event Center.
Officers say a fight in the parking lot of the club spilled over to a parking lot across the street. That’s where officers say a 20-year-old woman was shot multiple times while trying to break up a fight.
The suspect fled from the scene before officers arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Investigators searched the area but did not find the suspect. No description was provided of the suspect.
