PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is fighting for her life after a serious crash in Phoenix early Sunday morning.
Phoenix police say around 8:30 a.m., two cars collided near 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road. The drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, were rushed to the hospital.
Authorities say the woman is currently in critical condition, and the man remains stable.
Arizona’s Family crews witnessed a red SUV flipped over on its roof and a white SUV with the front bumper torn off. Debris and parts of the bumper were scattered across the intersection.

The intersection is closed in all directions as investigators determine what led up to the crash. Drivers are asked to avoid the area or seek alternate routes.
