MIDDLEPORT, N.Y. — The New York lottery has announced that a winning ticket for the August 23 drawing was sold in Western New York.
The ticket was a third-prize winner, valued at $50,000, and was sold at Chapman’s Market, located at 9202 Ridge Road in Middleport, NY.
The winning numbers for the August 23 drawing were 11-14-34-47-51 and Powerball 18.
The Powerball winning numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 69, with drawings held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11:00 p.m. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of 1 to 26.
